I am a Postdoctoral Scholar advised by Prof. Justin Sonnenburg at Stanford School of Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology Department. I am closely collaborating with Prof. KC Huang, Prof. James Zou, Prof. Yejin Choi, and Prof. William Mitch. Prior to Stanford, I received my Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology with Prof. Shaily Mahendra from UCLA. I was fortunate to closely work with Prof. Leonard Rome, Prof. Dianne Newman, Prof. Chong Liu, Prof. Eric Hoek, and Prof. Junyoung Park. Having worked at Prof. Lisa Alvarez-Cohen group, I received my M.S. from UC Berkeley in 2019.
My long-term research goal is to elucidate the complex relationship between gut microbiota and host inflammation. My primary focuses are employing cutting-edge AI/ML technologies, comprehensive omics approaches, and animal models to accelerate the understanding of the gut microbiome and its role in host health.
