I am a Postdoctoral Scholar with Professor Justin Sonnenburg at Stanford School of Medicine, Microbiology and Immunology Department. I received my Ph.D. in Environmental Microbiology, advised by Professor Shaily Mahendra from UCLA. I have closely worked with Professor Leonard H. Rome, Professor Chong Liu, Professor Eric M.V. Hoek and Professor Junyoung Park at UCLA. Having worked at Professor Lisa Alvarez-Cohen group, I received my M.S. from UC Berkeley in 2019. Previously, I received my B.S. from Harbin Insitute of Technology (HIT), supervised by Professor Nanqi Ren, Professor Shi-Jie You, and Professor Defeng Xing.
My long-term research goal is to understand the connection between the environment and human gut microbiota. My primary research aim to address critical global challenges, including public health concerns and environmental stress.
